Around the world, the town of Denby Dale is famous for record-breaking pies, but
the Directors of The Denby Dale Pie Company were painfully aware that the
traditions of record breaking did not extend to an ongoing production of
quality pies in the town. Years of experience in the food industry and a
desire to produce a range of deliciously consistent pies that had the quality
of the home-made meals our grandparents were used to, led to the formation
of the Denby Dale Pie Company.

The convenience of a prepared food with the quality, taste and appearance of
home-made has proven to be a winning formula and the sales and customer base
of the company have gone from strength to strength. The finest local
ingredients and a dedicated workforce ensure that customers not only
come back for more, but help to further promote the company and its’
reputation.

When ITV's Paul O'Grady Show launched a search for the country's prime pastry
treat, entered into the contest at the suggestion of one of our dedicated customers, the Denby Dale Pie Company
won the highest accolade for our Meat and Potato Pie !
The pie contest final was held live on the show and the supreme champion
was judged to be a meat and potato pie produced by The Denby Dale Pie Company
- made using only the best ingredients, with chunks of British beef and fresh
vegetables, braised and slow cooked to achieve a real home made taste,
with no artificial additives and preservatives.
